Bach’s Goldberg Variations is one of the monuments of repertoire for the keyboard and in this performance we hear the transcription for trio by the Russian violinist Dmitry Sitkovetsky. The programme is completed by another rarely heard arrangement of Bach’s music, this time by Mozart and Schubert’s delightful String Trio in B flat.
