We spent the weekend performing at Latitude Festival, the whole event went down a storm, so to speak, though thankfully without too much rain! Our performances were the first purely classical music concerts Latitude has seen and so the BBC took the opportunity to video interview Lizzie Ball, one of our violinists, in a short 'day-in-the-life' type video diary of the weekend. We played an exciting programme of works by Bach, Piazzolla, Reich, Tüür and Vivaldi. Details of the programme are here
Our summer festival activity doesn't stop there - next we'll be performing as part of the BBC Proms at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 9 August, 3pm. The weekend of piano-themed events is already attracting attention and The Independent has voted our concert as one of the Top 10 Proms to see. Details of our prom here
