New SinfoniaCast
Britten Sinfonia's latest podcast is timed to coincide with the release of our new Hyperion recording of Handel's Messiah. Soloists Andrew Foster-Williams, Allan Clayton and Julia Doyle pick out their personal highlights and discuss what makes this version so special for them.
The interviews were recorded back in December 2008, whilst Britten Sinfonia and Polyphony were rehearsing for a performance of Messiah at Ely Cathedral, conducted by Stephen Layton. Eleven months later, the fruits of this ongoing partnership can be heard on this new recording - a fantastic Christmas present for any music lover!
