Britten Sinfonia is one of the world’s leading chamber orchestras. Founded in 1992, it is inspired by the ethos of Benjamin Britten, with three guiding principles; world-class performances of the highest quality, illuminating and distinctive programmes where the old meets the new, and performances in the local community as well as in the world’s finest concert halls.

Be inspired and get involved.

Public funding and ticket sales cover just a small part of Britten Sinfonia’s costs each year. To make its ambitious artistic plans a reality the orchestra relies on the vision and generosity of many individuals who support Britten Sinfonia’s work as Friends, Chair Partners, or as members of the Sinfonia Circle.
